Katherine Healzer

Katherine is an intern in the Palmer group whose interests include biosecurity governance of biological science and emerging technologies as well as methods of engaging various stakeholders in synthetic biology research. She is also interested in the intersection between conservation science and synthetic biology, and she enjoys developing instructional videos and teaching modules. An avid musician, Katherine can be found playing her harp at local hospitals and hospice centers. She also loves to bake, so she can help if you are ever in need of fresh bread or pastries.
